METHOD
Soo here i am with another recipe which most of u guys might know but then still for those who dont kno and want to try somthing new with bhindi/Ladies finger/ vendakkai can try this out.
INGREDIENTS:
- Lady's finger 500 gms
- Ginger Paste 1 tsp
- Red Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp
- Dhania Powder 1 tsp
- Amchoor 1/2 tsp
- Garam Masala 1/2 tsp
- Tomatoes 2 big
- Lemon juice 1 tsp
- Asafoetida a pinh or two
- Saunf 1 tsp
- Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
- Onion Seeds (kalonji) 1/2 tsp
- Wash the bhindi and wipe it to dry. Cut the head and cut the bhindi/Lady,s finder vertically leaving the tip as it is.
- Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan and add the ginger paste and achari masala in it.
- Now add the chopped tomatoes and other masalas and cook till the tomatoes are cooked well.
- Once the tomatoes are cooked well add the bhindi into it and cook with lid colsed.
- Once the bhindi is half cooked, ad the salt and cook well.
- Add the lemon juice and serve with hot chappathi :)
